Ava had a wonderful 3 weeks with her Grammy! My mom was here to care for Ava while I finished up the last few weeks of school. It was so nice to have Grammy here and she made it easy to leave in the morning knowing Ava was getting some quality "Grammy" time. :)
We spent the first week trying to figure out what to call "Grammy!" We went through nana, nona, grammy, and many more. We finally decided on Grammy for now, but I'm sure once Ava starts talking she will make the final decision.

Steve and I were able to sneak away for a night while grammy was here. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at a beautiful resort in Palos Verdes. Unfortunately, the weekend was cut short when Steve woke up with a bad case of food poisoning. However, I was happy to get home to Ava earlier than expected and we still enjoyed a day of sun and relaxation! |
